we have a cat 330cmh and the maganet wont work the fuses are good we checked the mag line its good as well if any one has an idea what mite be wrong please let me know thanks.
Can you hear the generator kick in ? Do you got juice on the magnet? Does the magnet measure out ok? Does the magnet on and demagnetize switch work? Just some thing to check out..
The generator is not kicking on at all the display inside the cab wont even come on the mag switchs work. he had a load on the mag when it stoped working.
Well if the generator doesn't work check the relays for the valve and cables or the valve itself I should say..

It's been a long time since i worked on a 330MH, but i think NL1cat is right there is a solenoid operated valve somewhere on the generator that turns it on...check to see if the coil on the valve is energizing....It's possible the pump may have failed also, it should be the same pump that runs the rotator, if it has a rotator on it...does it work?
Ok its back up and running it was 2 relays that went out thanks for all the help.
