Looking at a 349F that has an issue with the stick cylinder? The machine will retract the stick in, but will not extend out basically past straight vertical position. I also noticed it feels bouncy while doing this (almost like there’s air in the system). All of the other functions work like they should and feel very firm and precise. Any ideas what could be going on?
Do you have an infrared temp gun.? If you have then it would be easy to check if oil is passing the piston seals.
Have someone (wife's are good for this) stand by the cylinder while you try to work it. If the leakage is that bad in the cylinder, it should sound like Niagra falls rushing through it.
