We got problem with CAT 350 EX the travel motor both working intermiten, somtime work, some time not, when it working every thing look ok, but when the motor can not work, the oil leak from motor and the case drain hose vibrate much. Could you help me to know what happening. The SMU about 14000 hrs.

Thanks very much your help, can the swivel or main control valve make it happen? Some more informations: - The oil spray out from motor when motor can not turn. - The swivel just reseal.
I agree, sounds like you have a mechanical problem inside the motors, pull one and take a looksee. I don't see how the swivel or main valve can cause this, if the motors are in good working order the oil should stay in the drive loop and not enter the casedrain. Have the casedrain filter been examined?
When the swivel leaks the drive motors should have less power. Drive motors should get the full pressure so they can't get over pressurized or so. If you get a lot of oil from the casedrain there must be room inside the motor to let it through. So that's why I think the bush bearing is worn or damaged.

If you have new seals in the swivel I don't understand why you bother with that anymore? direct your attention to the motors instead. Have you measured case drain from the motors? If you do find that it is too much then it can't be anythuing else than worn motors.
every groove in the swivel represent one circuit and all holes that may be present in one groove should be connected to the same port at the end.

How many hours on the machine? How many hours between hydraulic oil changes? Any other failures in the hydraulic system previously? Unfortunately things don't last forever and things like this can happen.

I think that 1: swivel startet to leak inernally (from Mainlines to casedrain) 2: drivemotors got damaged. 3:swivel got overhauled. 4:drivemotors brakedown. It is also important to check the casedrain from your swingmotors ,or dissasambly them for inspection of damage. (they have the same casedrainline as the drivemotors). ..Hej Per!
