There should be a tag on the cylinder with the Part Number on it. If that tag shows 572-4790 then the seal kit Part Number is 456-0207 - which updates to 625-5725.

All tags got scraped away. i have a seal kit 555-1815 that came along with the machine , but not sure wich cylinder its for.

E1365 - High Aftertreatment #1 DEF Concentration Troubleshooting, "NOx Conversion Is Low". See attached. You will need your ET.

Update all the software in the machine to the latest. If it codes again put the latest DEF header in it (# starts with 618 now). And check with your dealer as it very likely has an open letter to replace the header under warranty.

You can access codes in the monitor to see what they are. No idea why they don’t just put it on the pop up.

Hi Nige can you also help me with the manual or guide for track tensioning of a CAT AP 655D paver? .

  10. #10Nige2025-09-05 08:12

As usual supply a Serial Number and I’ll do my best.

After a quick look it appears as though the track tensioning is done via the m,achine hydraulic system and each track tension circuit (LH & RH) has its own separate accumulator. Do you have one track or both that will not tension correctly.?

  13. #13benmech2025-09-05 09:21

Both of them have no tension

Attached a bit of information in regard to how the track tensioning system works. A pressure switch issue maybe.? If you have a nitrogen charging kit available I would suggest that you check the precharge pressure of both accumulators just to rule them out although it would be strange if both had failed at exactly the same time.

Thankyou Nige , i will have a look at it to get it sorted out
