Has anyone had any problems with poor welding on the loader arms and boom? I was running mine today and the loader arm actually broke at the weld. Trying to figure out if it's a known problem that CAT should have to fix. Thanks
B series had issues with the booms cracking by the dipper pin. Ive seen a bunch of D series machine lately also that look like new loader arms for an E series have been put on......?
Almost all of the 1990s Cat backhoes I've seen have been re-welded around the main loader pin just front of the cab. But then I've seen Cases like that to and my JD 310D has cracks in the weld at the same place.
