Cat 420f loader bucket not returning to dig
Welcome to the Forums SF. Glad to have you. The wrenches on the board are going to need a little more intel. A serial number is the first thing they will need in order to find out which version you have. There are a multitude of 420F configurations.
The next question they are going to ask is what led up to it. Gradually failing for a while, or working fine one day, bad the next.?
Did you check the actuator rod and linkage itself? We are constantly having to weld bolts and repair the top of the linkage rod because they constantly bent/brake and fail to move the rod travel through the return to dig position linkage. Might be worth checking those things really quick since it's easy to inspect and you can visually verify the function.
