Anyone know what this error light means on a CAT816F? I feel like ive checked everything, and cant seem to find anything that needs fluids etc. I can put up with the light, but it's the warning buzzer that is tough going.
Typically this icon indicates low transmission pressure.
There are two options - either pressure problems or a faulty sensor

The light and buzzer are telling you something is wrong and that you should STOP the machine, not ignore them. But hey, it's not my machine. An Operation/Maintenance Manual might be a good thing to have. Post a machine Serial Number and we can help track down the appropriate one. Your light is a plugged transmission oil filter. When you change the filter you should really cut the old one open and look for debris in the pleats. This VIDEO shows how to do that. Yes I know it's for an engine oil filter but the procedure is the same for any filter. It might be also worth pointing out that the SERV CODE icon in the display window below the warning light panel indicates this machine has electronic problems. It may be that one of them could be causing your alarm and even changing the filter might not silence the alarm.
