So I just picked up a Cat 902 loader.. 3450 hrs runs decent, no warning lights on the dash and runs fine on flat ground but barely climbs up the 20 degree angle or the hill in my back yard?? Seems to run a touch better when it's warmer but not sure what warm is as all it has is warning lights and fuel gauge, hyd temp gauge on control panel.. Gonna add coolant temp, oil press, volts..
Have you serviced it? It could be as simple as a plugged fuel filter robbing power, does it blow black smoke when you're trying to climb a grade? I would also check the air filter while you're at it…
