Hi all, I just purchased a 125C that looks to be in really good shape. It has a kind of sight glass on the trans for fluid level. Does anyone know what level the fluid should be in that glass and under what conditions i.e. engine off, running in neutral, etc.?? it's almost full when engine off but at the very bottom engine running in neutral at idle. thanks!!
Can't say 100% but most equipment with sight gauges I have run across the correct procedure is to have the oil level near the center of the gauge with engine running, transmission in neutral and oil at normal operating temperature.
Thank you for the comment, that's what I was thinking so I think it's a bit low. it has a weeping trans output shaft seal so I think I'll drain it, install the new seal then top off.
