I have a Cat 920 Wheel Loader Circa 1979. This machine was built in Japan under licence. It is fitted with a Mitsubishi manufactured 4 cylinder naturally aspirated diesel engine. Mitsubishi logo and letters MU are cast into the cylinder block. Caterpillar part number 5S5300 also cast into the block. Caterpillar do not recognize these machines that were built in Japan in their spare parts system. Machine ID is *75J1357M*. I need to obtain parts to repair the water pump and don't know whether this is a Caterpillar engine or a Mitsubishi engine. Anyone able to help here?
75J 41J 62K equivalent machines used 3304 Cat engines. Bob
