Not sure where to post or if it is allowed on scissor lifts on this forum so please excuse me if I am doing any wrong. On this lift, I found metal in the hydraulic oil filter. I replaced the pump thinking that must be what was going bad. When operating the lift in forward or reverse, it whines and moves some but locks up the right side rear drive wheel. Any suggestions?
You have a motor failing. Pull that right drive motor, take it to your hydraulics rebuilder. If is in the motor you will need to flush the entire system to keep from scrubbing the new pump.
