Cat 930 Loader with a early 3304

Does the injection pump run off/or have anything to do with oil pressure? If I had to guess I would say the engine is around a 1976/ non turbo.

    Yes, it has to have oil pressure for the rack to open.

    The machines with the compact fuel system required engine oil pressure to open the throttle fully. The later ones with the sleeve metering fuel system didn't. Later Bob
