We have a Cat 930G with an oil pressure sending unit light which is flickering. It appears to happen randomly (irrespective of engine rpm or temperature) so we suspect a wiring issue. Do does anyone know where the sending unit is located and what the voltage reading would be?

It's amazing. There are only two options for 930G but each one uses a different electrical schematic. Need a S/N to identify which one you have.

Check your messages. The oil pressure sensor is ref #24 on the attachment. I think it is on the RH side of the engine block under the fuel injection pump.
