Anyone have information on the weld on sprocket rings? Where to buy, how to align and weld?
The aftermarket part # for the sprocket rim you need is CR3006. They will run somewhere around $100.00 each. The hardest part about welding new rims on a machine is getting them lined up correctly. We usually tack them in place and spin the sprockets to check to see if they are misaligned. Put something on the roller frame while the sprockets turn and you can see if they are lined correctly. You might have to cut your tack welds a couple times and reweld them.
Thanks for the information quicktrax!
some of those aftermarket rims can be hard to weld the castings arent the best in the world

Hi, we are looking for help with a cat 931 track loader. It loses power and misses when we try to throttle it up. The fuel filter and injectors have been changed. Any suggestions what to try next?

Does anyone have a transmission diagram and parts list for a Cat 931 78U series they could post? I just lost 3rd gear and having to clean the trans screen every two days to keep it going.
