Cat 931 serial Number

Can any body tell me what year a cat 45V1734 is, and any thing else about it? Thanks Rick

    Thats your engine serial the machines tag is by your feet when your sitting in the seat.

    Can anybody tell me the year of a 931 cat I believe serial number is 78U0605 not sure if its an O or a 0 between U and 6. Thanks Rick

    74 keep in mind the year of the machine will do very little good for finding parts and what not

    Indeed. It's amazing how many people think they need to know the "model year" to order parts or to get hold of service information when all that's actually needed is the machine Serial Number, or the engine Serial Number and Arrgt Number in the case of engine parts.
