Hello, During the past few months, our loader has been making a strange noise at random. It does not seem to have any patterns as far as when or at what RPM it occurs at. It sounds almost like a warning horn, but there is nothing unusual on the dash or anything happening to the machine. It can be heard outside the machine clearly and it comes and goes completely at random. We checked everything on the loader, but we can't figure it out. I know that this is pretty vague, but it could be a simple problem that we don't know about. It's a loud humming noise. Any help would be much appreciated. DB
Could it be an air relief valve.... pop's off if the pressure gets too high? Could use a little more info... does it sound for a split second or how long?
It usually lasts for about 3 minutes. I don't think that is a relief valve because it has only started happening recently.
Sit in the cab with machine idling, step on the brake pedal a couple of times and see if the noise starts. Later Bob
