Hello I have installed a new Monitoring System ECM and the working hours normally started from 0 hours. Can I change the working hours to the previous value? Thanks in advance
You will need Caterpillar ET software and a Communication Adapter. You can go into the ECM and change the hours for the same hours that are being shown on the other ECMs on the machine. IIRC the function is called "synchronize hours" or something similar. It's a while since I last used it. In your case you will have no problems because you are increasing the hours, but if you try to put an hours value into an ECM that is less than what it has now the software will not accept the lower value.
