Cat 980G Oil Leak

Cat 980G Serial# 2kr03683 Just replaced the rear differential pinion seal and now it appears oil is leaking out of the tin “cap” on the pinion yoke. Has anyone seen this happen? There is a snap ring that holds the cap in the yoke. Does anyone know if there’s an o ring or something behind the cap to stop oil from coming out. Thanks

    Yes theres a o-ring , let met check on SIS for parts number

    Thank you sir. It stopped leaking but if it starts again I’ll have to get the o ring and plug
