Hi ,first time posting . had our drill engine shut down today with this code ( fuel temp volt above norm or short high source ) checked a few things over fluid levels etc and restarted engine immediately noticed engine oil pressure was down to 11 psi . spoke with operator and he said yes oil pressure has fallen off from 28 psi in morning . ( checked oil psi with mechanical gauge same psi as gauge on dash panel. ) Engine is running rough and upon further inspection found fresh oil under crankcase vent hose , held my hand over vent hose while engine was running and after aprox 15 seconds it had sufficient pressure to force my hand away . Will change engine oil and filter in the morning and see where oil pressure comes back to . Thinking that filter is plugged with carbon deposits causing bypass therefore low oil psi . Not sure what this has to do with fuel temp code but one problem at a time
If you want any detailed help an engine Serial Number would be a good start. Based on the symptoms you have quoted so far I'm thinking this is not going to end well TBH ...... If this engine is like the C13 machine engines it will have a somewhat weird system for controlling oil flow and maximum oil pressure. If your oil filter head looks like the illustration below pull it apart and take a good look at the spool #7. This is what controls the oil flow bypass back into the oil pan and can directly affect your oil pressure.
