What window and what model. Serial number would help.

the windows that open on the sides. there is one on each door for sure. i think it is on all d series hoes. we own two and have rented many others and they all have that cheesy latch that doesn't hold. i have seen it in 420d most often and probably also in 416d and 430d cats.

They are kinda cheap plastic but there were 2 styles, one that clipped the window closed and the other latch rotated to keep it closed, this was the better one.

we have had problem with the rotating ones. usually the rotating handle rotates itself out of place. we have started to zip tie the handle shut but the zip tie gets cut and the windows flies open and breaks. we have considered Plexiglas but i am not sure if that would work. we have seriously considered silconing shut the window all together so it can't be opened. suggestions?

Could you post a couple of photos of the latch and the window frame ? There has to be an easy fix for the problem.
