S/N 6SL02810 Weak drive R/H side.Unit will not turn to left it is slipping on right track Linkage to valve and brake seem in order.Have the seat off.Would like to run pressure check before taking cover off right side Can anyone give me direction.Thanks

    Here's the steering & linkage adjustment specifications in case you want to check it. Also the procedure to measure steering clutch pressure. It's in the transmission test section. See pages 1-3.

    Check the rollers on the steering valves. They are known to get flat spots. There is a simpler procedure to adjust the brakes. Remove the linkage bar that goes to the big cam on top of the clutch/brake compartment. It should have a hair pin. Tighten the brake band as tight as it will go. Don't reef on it just snug. Then shorten the bar you removed as much as possible that you can still get the pin in. Then loosen the brake band 1 1/2 turns or until you get about half a pedal free play. This guarantees the free play is at the brake band and not in the linkage. Learned this from the late Bob/Ont. He was the guru on these smaller machines.
