cat D5C dozer

Also going to look at CAT D5C dozer with PAT blade serial number (as far as i could make out)6pj00709 or 6pj00708 does any one know what year and horsepower.Are these a good machine,what to look out for it has no cab but a rops on it is this dozer a pedal/lever or joystick steer.Will it be computerized or mechanical basically can i fix it with spanners or a laptop.

    Year is July 1993 for both Serial Numbers, they were built 1 day apart. the only way to tell which one it is would be to look at the engine 6PJ00708 had engine S/N 7YJ04605 and 6PJ00709 had S/N 7YJ05007 installed. Both machines are pedal steer rather than levers. No electronics on these tractors. All it would take to work on it would be a decent set of hand tools.
