Hey everyone. I am trying to determine if my crawler has a hydraulic cutoff to the cooler. Both radiator and cooler have leakage and I am sending it out for repair. All that I have left to do is disconnect the hydraulic lines to the cooler and remove the units. If there is no cutoff, any suggestions on how to stop the constant flow of fluid? Wood dowel or cork maybe? Thanks in advance!!
Drain the coolant and get metal caps for the hyd. lines. Have the caps ready to thread on the second you remove the hose. A vacuum in the hyd. reservoir fill port will help stop fluid from running out too.
Thanks!!
