Cat d5G S/N is RKG03245, how do i drain coolant, recently purchased this machine and its more water than coolant and needs replaced. also do i have to buy the extended life cat coolant? i took the side panel off hoping i could take the lower radiator hose off but that doesnt look possible. Anyway to suck it out? thanks ps, thanks again for all the help with the speed sensors i have yet to fix that, coolant needs my first attention as winter is near, i bought this machine form the new orleans area where they dont worry much about freezing!

Any red coolant will be fine. I perfer peak its the same as cat. If memory serves theres a drain on the bottum of the radiator and a plug to pull right above the starter

Check your tractor's instructions for how to change the coolant.

That being the case it sounds as though you need an Operation & Maintenance Manual. You can download one in pdf format from HERE for $52 and have it in 5 minutes or less. Just put SEBU7801 in the box and click the Search button.

unscrewed drain, nothing came out, tried blowing air backup drain hose but no go. i never for a second thought it would drain, im never that lucky. im guessing a croiwfoots wrench and remove the drain from the radiatior?
