Hey guy's I'm a first-timer here but I been reading a lot of your post and they have been very helpful. I was running my Cat E110b today and I heard this squeaking noise coming from the bellhousing on end of engine where the hydraulic pump bolts up. I opened up the engine cover and seen smoke coming out of a bolt hole in bellhousing. Any thoughts on what could be causing this ?
Drive coupling. Later Bob
Thanks Bob you where correct. The top two bolts on the pump broke off and destroyed the drive coupling. Any special tricks that I need to do before I put it back together?
