Engine temp gauge goes into the red after 30 minutes of hard use, unit goes into a limp home mode. With my temperature probe I am only seeing 200 degrees on the cylinder head near the temp senders. A few questions: Is the cooling fan supposed to pull air in through the oil cooler then the radiator or should it blow out? My unit currently is pulling the air in, I removed the fan it looks like it has never been mounted the other way, it just seems backwards. There are two coolant temperature sensors mounted very near each other in the head, one is for the gauge anybody know the purpose of the purpose of the second temp sensor?
one is the sender for temp gauge the other is the switch for warning light in monitor panel serial number if you want more info Mark

Think about what flipping the fan would do...it'll still spin the same way, but the "scooping" action will be diminished. The only "reversible" blades I've seen are on dozers, where the "scoop" is rotated, on each blade, approximately 45°. But, it still rotates in the same fashion. So, no, flipping the fan over will not result in reversed airflow.
If the fan had been flipped wrong, it WOULD result in reduced airflow. Compare the curvature to any other fan blade with respect to rotation and air flow.
