well i have to say cat is on a roll with this machine.first time with joy sticks. every thing seems to come naturally with this function and controls. steering was an issue during traveling higher speeds, another operator hit a bump crossed the line into on coming trafic, almost hitting two cars. we found trying to correct this at greater speeds gets you in too a bad case of zig zaging and loss of control. the salesman says to hold the joystick lower near the bottom of control for less sensitivity. this design i think is great for on site applications .as for roading or plowing snow at high speed a steering wheel should be available like the 872gp deere.

Aye .. Very nice ... We worked out 8 Functions can be performed at the same time .. People say this machine is removing the Skill out of grading? How are you finding the controls? The steering lever staying static while turning. What about the auto-centre button for the articulation ... Magic eh.

ross the auto/centre button is sweet works great.the controls are responsive and still have agood feel for the blade, all functions come very naturally.steering is very quick,it self centres the wheels when you let go,didnt like this. over all cat is on to something power, performance, visibility, are awsome.we ended up with a 870 deere , not complaining though this will give cat a run for thier money.

i think youre right ross on the steering, but if you shut off machine with the wheels turned, when you started it back up you had to pick the steering back up by moving the joystick. its been 7 months since we demod this machine ,trying too remember all this stuff. thanks for pointing that out. whats youre take on the steering.
