Hi all, l am trying to find the rated horsepower of this engine. lt is a 3208 with twin turbos, serial number on the tag is 75v2963 and it says 210 hp. l don't know if the tag is off this engine because it was not attached. Seems strange that a twin turbo would have the same hp as a non-turbo. Am l missing something here? Thanks, John
There is no info in the Cat system for that specific serial number. Is there an arrangement number on the tag? Either way, after a (brief) look, I cant see any 75V with two turbos.
Try trawling through this thread to see if it gives you any clues. It would be good to have some photos of your engine but I think you have to post at least 3 times on the forum before you can attach photos. Pay special attention to the location of stamped Serial Numbers on the engine block. These could give us a clue. HeavyEquipmentForums You may have something that's been "modified" at some point, although without photos it's difficult to tell. However with some Part Numbers taken from obscure parts on the engine that should assist in identification. Like CM a brief look at 75V-prefix engines shows nothing with twin turbos.
