Hi Folks I just pulled my drooping headliner out of my 89 710a. I had planned on reusing the material, refoaming it, and regluing it in place. It seems the fabric has stretched a fair bit and doesn't want to lay flat. Anyone know where a replacement can be purchased? Thanks
Welcome to the Forums DG! My suggestion on such a machine that age is a local upholstery shop. I've have good luck getting seats and such recovered much less than an OEM replacement - if you can even find one.
Last time I dealt with fabric for a head liner I got it at Jo Ann fabric store. They even had the same color and the right type of spray on glue.
