I am going to buy a 1949 Peterbilt from a guy and it had a Champion Timberlands tag stuck on the door jam. Can anyone on here help me get some info about the company and the history of the truck.
Is there a date on the tag? Champion bought and sold timberland all over Oregon, Montana Idaho and I think Washington. If you find a date, that might help give you some direction. Otherwise send any serial numbers you find to Peterbilt and they have the archives to help. Please post what you find out.
