My stepson has a JD 555 with the JD backhoe on it. He is wanting to change the crawler backhoe pattern to excavator backhoe pattern. Is there someplace to find the info how to do this? Thx....
You may want to post this in the backhoe section.
You just need to swap boom and stick control, right? Would be a mess trying to make linkage for that, and swapping hoses around won't work right. You would need to pull the valve stack out, disassemble, then reassemble with the boom and crowd sections swapped, using all new seals, and make sure the hoses for those functions follow the sections.
