Can you changs the linkage on all types of backhoes so thay are excavator pattern? And whats a good backhoe to buy?
Sure, I think it can be done easier by switching hoses around. When I got my 555 it was set up as excavator pattern, the guy said he couldnt run it in backhoe pattern. My backhoe mentor buddy helped me switch it back though, said I should learn backhoe pattern in a hoe and excavator pattern on pilot controls in a excavator. As far as backhoes go, I like my ford. They are a little quirky, but very strong, good parts availability is good.
