will a hyster d4f or a d4e winch bolt onto a cat d5 dozer?
Nope pto shaft on any hyster D4 winch suits the low mount pto shaft on D4E and earlier tractors. D5 have a high mounted pto shaft. You need a cat 55 or hyster D6C/D/E or W6E/F winch. But it needs to have the correct pto shaft and coupler to suit a D5. AND there was different pto shafts for powershift and gear drive D5s !!
