chevron rando 46 vs. napa aw 46 hydraulic fluid

Is one any better than the other to put in a mini excavator? Or are all aw46 oils pretty much the same?

There are of course variations. Please note that a 46 hydraulic oil is not anti-wear unless it says "AW" somewhere in there. The base stock is probably all pretty close, it's the patented aditive package that makes the difference. My goto oil of preference is Deere HyGard, it's not only AW46 compatible it works in torque convertors, power shift transmisions, and final drives. Not cheap but then how much oil can a mini hold?

Napa doesn't make their own lubricants but they do have very stringent specifications. Either one will be a good choice.
