What is a chimney brick? What are you filling?
Brick from a chimminy. An area that is low and tends to be a bit wet. Neighbor is dismanteling thier old chimminy was just wondering if the brick is ok to use. Thanks!

Brick is fire clay. I guess it is natural to return it to the earth.
Just make sure there is no asbestos involved.
It's the outside brick so there shouldn't be any should there?
Should be none unless it was used to patch around the thimble.
