A friend of mine is thinking seriously about purchasing this Clark 55C Loader & I wanted to ask if anyone could give us the build date on it based on the ser# 481B285CB?
My book doesn't list a 55C, but all the C models it does list were made from '79-'86, (35C, 45C, 175C, 275C, etc.) I do have a serial number list with similar numbers but that format makes it real confusing. I think it's an '85, but I can't swear to it. Looking again I just don't know, looking at the number list it's probably between '83 and '86, but I sure wouldn't warranty that. They skip all over the place with those numbers.
