hai.., i have a nissan diesel truck. today i changed new wheel cylinder and take a test drive. suddenly i am not able to change gears. the cluth was barely working. so i stoped and checked.., and there was smoke coming from flywheel housing. now i cant even change gear. can you tell me what should i do.?
Probably buy a new clutch and replace it. First, you can make sure the clutch linkage is operating correctly, is this a cable, linkage, or master/slave cylinder? You can also check if there's an inspection hole on the bellhousing someplace. I bet there's fibres and chunks of clutch material loose in there.
