What do you guys use to remove grease from sloughing ring .working on a 200 Hitachi . The access hole is approximately 2 in.² would a small gear pump suck that greasy mess out of there
There is a drain hole in the bottom of the swing pinion tub that you have to access from under the machine. You have to get up next to the swivel to take a couple of bolts out and remove the cap.
Yes I saw that plate underneath but I believe that just gets access to that one area .you need to work from the top and rotate the upper house To remove the grease you remove the grease
You can remove that plate and then tip the machine up using the boom so the liquid can run out through that hole.
