anybody work on these? they look similar to gradall axles that i have worked on. i have one that seems to be leaking through the brakes and out the diff vent. the leak is very small and i dont even want to tear into it but the owner dosent want it to leak.

Several machines/brands use Carrorro axles bobb. If it's filling the axle housing to the point of leakage from vent on top of axle, only way to fix it is take the axle apart and replace brake piston seals and check brake pistons for cracks.

i realize thee are many different models of the corrarro. im just hope i can find the leak cause its a small one. i may try to isolate which side leaks to narrow it down a bit. this thing is a pita compared to a gradall as far as pulling the axle out of the machine. the whole front subframe with the landing legs needs to come off.

Here's what we do with our ZF axles. You may want to try this... locate the overfill plug on the side of the axle. Place a clean 5 gallon bucket under it and remove the plug. Approx. 2 gallons of hyd oil will drain out. The oil may be so clean you can reuse it. Replace the plug. If is is a very minor oil bypass, it may be 6 months or more before you have to repeat this draining. Good Luck.

I had one a few months back that had a catastrophic failure of the wetbrake. I posted some pics of the damage here. HeavyEquipmentForums I do have a copy of the carraro service manual for the 26.25 series axles if thats the model you have. shoot me an email and I'll get it to you.
