does anyone know what the purpose of the idler of a d7e 48a high position or low position? I found the directions to switch the positions in my manual but dont know what the purpose is. Thanks in advance.
I'm pretty sure I've read posts by Scrub Puller about this before. The high position is for a scraper application I believe. Removing the blade and raising the idler makes the tractor much more maneuverable.
