Exactly when does the plugged filter light come on - when you key on or when you start the engine..? Have you looked at the spool in the head of the transmission filter that activates the blocked filter switch..? Sometimes a broken (or tired) spring behind the spool can cause problems with the switch being operated when it shouldn't. What make & Part Number of transmission filter are you using..?

The light only comes on above idle using cat filters will look at numbers in morning and inspect spring and spool the left switch has been discontented and bridged problem happened 40hrs after service cheers Crossy

The problem came up soon after a service where the filter was changed..? Depending on the filter Part Number you have installed there is a possibility that maybe the springs behind the bypass valve spool are the wrong ones and that's leading to the alarms and could be also causing the filter to collapse. Was the filter that was sucked flat at the previous PM a Cat filter also..? Is there any way you can find out what Part Number that one was..?
