Cat D5C 5HS00484 I'm still fairly new to dozers, and got no response on my last post, so I thought I would ask in a different way for someone who knows alot about cat hystat dozers. Can someone explain the purpose/function of the overspeed valve and why is it necessary and the consequences of bypassing/not using it. It is the valve under the floor boards to the left/ below the brake pedal. Thanks for any help
