Cryo Treatment of Tracks

cryochuck ยท 2012-11-07 11:57

Hey all. If you are having trouble with your dozer track pins, bushings, shoes, chains or any other part that is wearing too quickly, give me a ring at 300Below (217-423-3070, ask for Chuck) to see if we can help you. We are able to extend the wear resistance of many steels and alloys and thereby, increase the life of parts. NOT ALL steels are improved though, and so we don't want to give give the impression that we will treat anything and everything and guarantee improvement. The steels that are improved have varying amounts of improvement depending upon their makeup. High carbon steels are great for our process along with the following list: M42, M7, C2, D2, 347 SS, 400 SS, carbides, and many others. Also, please advise me of the worst parts for wear and warping on your machines. Thanks. Chuck

We had our pins and bushings done on one of dozers couple years back. Seems to have worked real well. Also did a cuttin blade and it lasted a lot longer than normal. The company we used moved away though and we havent cryoed anythingsince. Where you located at and how much it cost?

My apologies Willie. When I signed up I quickly scanned the guideline on the page and thought it just went over obscenity, violence, etc. I won't create any new threads for advertisement. Thanks for the heads up.

Metalmike, We are located in Decatur, IL. The price depends on the weight and we have a sliding scale for it. The higher the weight the less per pound. Our minimum is $100 per order which is up to ten pounds. Anything over 10lbs is an additional price per pound on the sliding scale. Please give me a call at 217-423-3070 if you would like to talk more about it. We have special pricing on brake rotors.

Cryochuck, just some free advice. If you want to talk actual biz with a member do it as a private message ( PM ). It may make you're stay here a little longer. We have some valued members who some of us do biz with ,but we do it as PM's so we can all still benefit from the knowledge of some professionals. Hate to see some one loose their privilege to such a great site with good people and knowledge.:my2c:wink2
