Cushion hitch accumulator malfunction

623B 46P17XX serial number. It was working in the last 25 hours. My cushion hitch is getting oil into the nitrogen side of the accumulator. I know that from opening up the charging valve on the nitrogen tank while the cushion hitch lever was in the up position and engine running, and foamy oil came out of the safety valve on the tank regulator, oops. Maxed out the gauge too, so that tells me hydraulic pressure is where it doesn't belong. Has anybody ever rebuilt one of these accumulators? I looked at the parts diagram and it only looks like a few o-rings to reseal it. Basically looks like a hydraulic cylinder inside. Cylinder charges up with the control lever, but has no cushion to it.

Easy job, release the pressures, undo the cover and knock the piston out, replace the seals and button it up and recharge.
