excavator has been throwing these codes on and off for a couple of years now. Sometimes it’ll operate fine for days sometimes it throws the codes 7000 and 7001 referring to p1 and p2 sensors. Ive checked the connections and the wires and all look fine. Local dealer says problem could stem form another sensor but I’m not sure what or where. The dealer had me get into the computer and go to screen 8 and the sensor for the boom and the dipper are at zero as well. They had me disconnect the throttle dial, fuel gauge, thinking that is where the problem lied and still did not change anything. Any help would be appreciated.
How does it perform when it acts up ? You might want to have a quick look at your hydraulic filter located inside your reservoir, sometimes they come loose and as the machine moves in certain angles the loose filter moves inside the tank causing it to block the flow resulting to lost hydraulic pressure. If you drive up a steep hill or ramp and it acts up you'll know for sure, providing that is the case in your situation
