Anybody seen the new intelligent komatsu machines. There is a third hose on each cylinder that senses the stroke of the cylinder. Are these ultrasonic or mechanical type sensor?
It's a wheel that rides on the rod and a magnetic reset sensor.
Sounds like fun.

Cat has started using them for the gps. Will be nice not messing with puting cables on and off but it will make all the pivots critical to maintain. We demoed one that can grade a level pad and does not need gps or a laser. I did not run it but the boss said it did not work as well as he had hoped.
