Hi guys, For the last three weeks our PC210-8 Komatsu is acting slow. The boom tracks and stick is completely slow while the bucket speed is reasonable. Had the local Komatsu electricians and hydraulic mechs work on it together for 12 days but no use. They said they have to open the main control valve and pump and I 100% think there is no problem with it. The electrician says that they have done their part according to him and there is no electric fault. The rock breaker works fine. Raising the boom and stick is very slow but comes back normal. The tracks are slow in both directions. Before the machine used to act slow around 3 to 4 hours of work. Now its slow even when the machine is cold. Any clues guys. Thanks Rockfall
If there are no fault codes it is most likely not the electrics. What you are describing sounds like a pump that has a problem. How many hours on this component?
There are no faults and the hours are around 8000. Aldo john can you check your mail.
12 days! I think that's too much They should flowmeter the pump to tell if it is the pump itself or the main control valve. Anyway if they remove the pump and the control valve, it is better to test bench them before the disassemble
Jey, gauges show very low pressure on the pump
How's your engine rpm?
I think it is better to start with the pump. The dealer should have a test bench or at least work with a loal hydraulic shop that should have it. So if they remove it, go and check the P-Q curve before they install your pump again. Everybody will be happy
The rpm is ok
Didn't see anything in either email box?
Check now. Have sent you a pm
Any news?
