I'm confused about which transmission fluid I should be running in my D21. I've read that the recomended trans fluid is 15w40, 30w or nd30. The guy I got the dozer from said to use non detergent 30w in everything from engine, trans, hydraulic and final drives. Then I read I should use 15w40 for engine and trans, tractor trans and hyd fluid in the hyd and anywhere from 40w to 90 w in final drives. i'm running Shell Rotella 15w40 in the engine, but not sure what to use in transmission or hyd. Can anyone shed some light on all these choices?
