D3 clutch

Hello. I am working I. A 1979 cat d3 79u I am replacing the clutch and brake. My question is how do I remove the clutch springs. Thanks

    Yes looks like that but I don't have a clutch table to compress the springs any way to do it by hand?

    If you have a press build a plate with holes that catch the retainers and are big enough to let the keepers through. If you are brave and in a hurry put a piece of pipe on retainer and hit with hammer Still going to need a press to reassemble. Use the drum to realign when going back together.
