I have a D31E-17 and the seal on transmission where the driveshaft connects too started leaking. I figured no big deal seal needs replaced. Upon removal of the driveshaft I noticed that the yoke in front of the transmission had quite a bit of in and out play. I removed the yoke and when I flipped it over you can see where it was rubbing against the seal and casing. Has anyone else seen this? Not quite sure what the fix for this would be. I grabbed the shaft and can see about 3/8 to 1/2 inch of play. Is this normal? Any insight as to what is happening here? Thanks!
